The importance of mundane tasks
Having spent the last few months either on code or reading archeology books, I felt an inherent fatigue. I always assumed fatigue can be overcome by switching topics. But picking up ever so challenging tasks did little to ease me. I though weaving in some social media slop can help, which in-turn added anxiety.
Today I spent some times ... pasting a label on some books (a lot of books), a repeated mundane task. Mundane but still sort of calmed me down making me realise mundane is important. I remember the mundane fun in doing crochet, something I think I should revisit. I think that should give the correct balance for my mind.
