Mark's rant

Why I code?

I was seven years old in 2003 when we brought a personal computer, and growing up with little social connections it filled the missing gap in my world. I was always a curious person wanting to learn something new, but at best I was above average.

But something about computers just kept me intrigued. Was it that they are deterministic in an non deterministic world? Or was it a calling that it would become my life's work. I always kept faith though and even in moments where I had doubts it was thing that reassured me that I can make it.

I title this article as "Why I code?", but I don't restrict myself to programming, anything from digital art to even making PowerPoint slides has always been interesting to me. Do I want to be seen? Do I want to be work on the most complicated problem? No, I just want to code....
